HKCC Design Annual Show 2022

Hyper Craft is a project by London design studio Two Times Elliott, created for the D&AD Festival 2024. Rooted in the festival's exploration of creativity in the age of Al, the work investigates how traditional craft can evolve when placed under the lens of hyper-digitisation. By blending tactile processes with digital precision, the project reflects on the tension and harmony between hand-made imperfection and machine-driven efficiency. The installation acted as both a celebration of heritage techniques and a provocation about the future of making-asking whether, in a hyper-connected, automated world, craft becomes more valuable, more radical, and more human.
